This painting examines with the idea that something that was once very plentiful culturally, through passage of time, has become rare. Trade beads were created and traded for adornment and as a form of international currency. Their existence in the modern world reflect the continued value placed upon them. The use of medium allows for a final varnish that illuminates the need for the artwork to be behind glass.
