My subject for this bust was a Red Tail Hawk named Elise who resides at the Black Hills Raptor and Rehabilitation Center in Rapid City SD. At the time of the original sculpting she was 24 years old and still flying in their educational programs. She is beautiful and fierce, and curious about everyone around her.
