The enlarged acrylic images of Teredo Clams are accompanied by a fossil specimen of “worm wood”. The 1-mm clams bored in wood floating on 60 million-year waters. During fossilization, the borings were filled with sediment and crystals providing creative interpretation of nature’s functional design.
